Dear Parents,
EDGE is taking a trip to the Brookdale Mill Creek Retirement Center to do Christmas Caroling! In doing so, we need some superstar volunteers to accompany & Drive our youth. The trip is December 11th, 2017 @6:30pm. All parents selected will need to report to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton at 6:00pm on December 11th. We will return to EAS close to 8 pm.
When you volunteer to serve as a chaperone & driver on your child’s trip, you are helping to extend the regular curriculum beyond the parish and the community. Your role as a chaperone is an important one and requires that you accept certain responsibilities. Chaperones will be assigned to a small group of students (8-10). It is the responsibility of the chaperone to keep track of their group for the entire duration of the field trip. At no time should students be left unsupervised.
If you are interested in being a chaperone & driver, please complete the adult forms below and return to the parish office by Thursday, December 10th with proof of insurance and driver license. When all forms have been submitted, we will then notify you if you were selected. If you are selected, you must sign up on the Virtus Online to be cleared as a volunteer. Please be reminded Background checks must be conducted on all volunteer chaperones as outlined in the Archdiocese of Seattle guidelines. This can be completed on the online Virtus site.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Director of Youth Ministry via email
